Michael Fakhri, Special Rapporteur on the Right To Food, published a new video on the Voluntary Guidelines on Food Systems and Nutrition (VGFSyN) highligting the lack of reference to Human Rights in the actual draft.

The negocations are currently ongoing and many governments are continiously undermining the references to Human Rights, but also to «sustainable food systems» and do not adopt a food system approach that would allow to link healthy diets to food systems (environment of production, processing methods, scale and method of distribution, governance and control of the food chain, scale of food systems, fresh food locally produced and marketed, etc.).
